Unlike most drive enclosures, which only support SATA SSDs and HDDs up to 9.5 mm in height, this enclosure is compatible with virtually all 2.5" SATA drives up to 15 mm in height. Plus, it comes with a USB Type-Cto Micro-B cable, for connecting to newer USB-C enabled laptops, tablets, and phones. A USB Type-A to Micro-B cable is also included to ensure backward compatibility with your existing USB 3.0 and 2.0 devices.

The enclosure is powered directly from the USB port on your device, which means no external power is required. For portable storage, you cantuck it away inside your laptop bag or carrying case and take it anywhere -- from your home to the office, the hospital, the lab, or out in the field, so that you can access your data wherever you go.
