SATA-porteføljen er inddelt i to kategorier: Entry- (ETY) og Midline-drev (MDL). HPE SATA Entry-drev er den billigste løsning til startservere. HPE SATA Midline-drev er designet med henblik på økonomisk pålidelighed og ydelse til eksternt lager, backup og arkivering. Disse drev med stor kapacitet giver den laveste pris. pr. GB. Såvel Entry som Midline SATA-drev giver den bedste pris ved ikke kritiske applikationer med lav belastning på 40% eller derunder.
